Sun on Water

We are working on a nice project. We filled the water basin with 330 solar panels. Due to the cooling effect of the water, we have a higher yield from the solar panels. And we make optimal use of the space.

Better quality plant with less work

We have an innovative, sustainable and smart approach to work and we prefer not to create waste. To this end, a couple of years ago, we met with CLTV Zundert and ICL Specialty Fertilizers. Following this initial contact, these companies continued to develop a sustainable fertilisation pellet. At a later stage, Arno van de Ven developed a GPS-controlled planting machine which allows fertiliser to be added at the same time through a dosing unit. Would you like to know more? You do not innovate alone

In terms of our approach to our growing strategy, innovation is considered to be very important at our nursery. We look beyond our own industry. We search for possible applications within arboriculture and we talk to potential partners. Whilst chatting to Hein van Iersel from Boom in Business, Joost explains this in more detail. Prunus laurocerasus Elly

At Groot Groen Plus 2018 trade fair, Prunus laurocerasus "Elly" was awarded a bronze medal.

The plant’s characteristics are:
- very hardy
- low susceptibility to disease
- shiny, dark green leaf
- compact and bushy
- slender, upright habit
